AlHosoon Charter School provides a safe, well-equipped, and stimulating learning environment that enhances student achievement and wellbeing. Our campus features modern classrooms organized into ten learning pods, each equipped with its own lab space to support hands-on learning and practical exploration.
Each pod includes dedicated resource areas and a flip chart station to support students who were absent, ensuring continuity of learning and easy access to missed work and key information.In addition, the school offers fully equipped science laboratories, advanced ICT and digital learning resources, a well-resourced library, dedicated activity spaces, a fully equipped art room, a multi-purpose gymnasium, and a swimming pool that supports physical education and fitness programs.
We are proud to have a dedicated team of 83 administrative and teaching staff members who work collaboratively and continuously engage in professional development to maintain excellence in teaching and learning.

Mouza Alkindi
School Principal - Al Hosoon School
Is a dedicated and accomplished school leader with over 22 years of experience in the field of education. She began her professional journey as an English teacher, where she developed a strong passion for teaching, learning, and student development. Over the years, Ms. Mouza has built extensive experience across the education sector, with a clear focus on instructional quality, school improvement, and effective leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Quality Assurance, which has strengthened her expertise in monitoring standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality educational outcomes. Throughout her career, Ms. Mouza has been committed to fostering inclusive learning environments, enhancing academic performance, and supporting the professional growth of teachers and staff. Her leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and a student-centered culture that promotes excellence and wellbeing. She strongly believes that quality education, purposeful leadership, and teamwork are the foundations of a successful and thriving school.
Kimberlin Sturgis
Director of School improvement
Al Hosson School
Dr. Kimberlin Sturgis is an accomplished International School Visionary with extensive experience in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. She is a Director of School Improvement with New Century Education, leveraging over 25 years of expertise in K-12 education. Prior to this role, she served as the founding principal with the Aldar Emirates Schools Ajyal Project and the founding Head of Middle School with Bloom Charter Schools, both in the UAE.
Before moving to the UAE, Dr. Sturgis was an Executive Leadership Coach, supporting and training school leaders, and served as a Manager of Curriculum and Evaluation. Her career in the United States encompassed various leadership roles, including curriculum project manager, instructional coach, vice principal, and principal.
In addition to her contributions to education, Dr. Sturgis worked as an Environmental Chemist in the public sector before transitioning into education, and she also served in the Air Force Reserves. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Business Administration, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Dr. Sturgis is dedicated to transforming education and empowering future generations through innovative leadership and academic excellence.
